The pains we experience and hold inside us, show up in behaviours which tend to stimulate pain in ourselves and people around us. Conflict can be the tension between the self who’s trying to protect from the pain and the same self who’s longing to stay in connection, valued, appreciated and loved.
Through the groundedness and spaciousness of our embodied awareness, using the language of Nonviolent Communication, we can truly soften into self-compassion for the needs we long to meet. We shall embrace grief for our unmet needs and gratitude for the body that opens to receive the world’s resources.
